We’ve made some posters / flyers about dress codes. If you have, too, we’d love to see them! Perhaps we could add them to this page, or to our archive of dress code activism.
On August 31, the TDSB sent a letter to “system leaders,” including all school principals, to clarify what the Board expects with respect to school dress codes. Some principals have talked to students and staff about the Board’s expectations, and initiated revisions to their schools’ codes. Some principals… have been less forthcoming. These flyers are intended to prompt discussion of the Board’s expectations.

In the fall of 2017, the End Dress Codes collective made five posters with TDSB classrooms in mind. Please feel free to use them however you see fit, or to adapt them for use in other school boards.
